Feb 2, 2005 Great beer, not too heavy or chewy, but definitely delivering on the taste. Copper coloured, slight head, poor retention. Crisp and malty taste. Slight bitterness is how I like it. Would get again for a session. Draught.

The first time I tried it, it was love at first taste. Pours a beautiful copper colour, with a nice foam. Wonderful citrus and floral accents. Simply an excellent beer all around.

Dec 28, 2004 Excleent copper colour. Poured with a slight off-white head. Excellent saaz aroma. The crystal malt balanced well with the hop bitterness. It finished quite clean. An excellent beer.

Dec 27, 2004 12.27.04 500ml bottle thanks to Secret Santa. Brassy gold color, big creamy head. Grainy and malty aroma, grass and wood. Toasty, grainy, light, sweet, woody flavors...a bit floral. Palate is soft and valvet smooth with plenty of body. Clean, dry finish. I’ll be damned, this is a good beer. Thaks a million, Santa!

Dec 26, 2004 Bright gold with a fine foam that recedes to a thin cover. Clean aroma with some noble hops--a bit grainy. Flavour is a robust malt followed by a pleasant hop bitterness that dissipates to a sweet finish. A bit of grain flavour in the end, though, with hints of butterscotch and sulfur. Medium body, a bit mouth coating.

Oct 19, 2004 Very nice color (amber, orange) and appearance (foamy head). Subtle bitterness. Malt is present but seems to vanish as the dry hop takes over in every mouthfull.
This is a good lager.

Oct 7, 2004 Crystal clear amber body, creamy white head. Sweet, malty aroma. Oatmeal cookie dough with a touch of earth and grass. Light caramel and roast nutty flavor with a certain fruity tartness. It’s faint, but reminds me of taffy and milk. This beer gets good ratings in the technical categories but lacks in the overall because while it’s well-made and enjoyable, it’s just not that interesting.
