Decent lager, wish there was a bitter finish, nothing really in the finish. Otherwise good malty body.

Good quality lager. My only problem with it was that carbonation was too strong for my liking. It didn’t make it much less enjoyable seeing as the beer is above average otherwise, but yeah... I’ll try it again come summer; when maybe that extra fizz will be welcomed.

apparently inspired by Pilsner Urquell, which this outstanding Canadian lager ends up surpassing in quality. very dark for a lager, beautiful amber color. perfect, and I mean perfect balance of malt and hops. best enjoyed on tap, but bottle will do if it has to. robust and complex, this fell in quality after Molson took over the brewery, but has improved drastically of late, back to its old excellence. really reminds you how great a well-made lager can be, and causes you to lament the horrific macro products even more. One of Canada’s best, and that includes Quebec. Wonderfully fresh as well.

A: Poured with a small, white head that very quickly turned into a thin film. Body is a dark golden color, with a very slight haze. S: Nice aroma of light malt, with traces of caramel and maybe even some nuttiness to it. T: Flavor is mostly sweet with light malt and caramel, and a short duration. Very refreshing finish. M: Light-bodied with a creamy texture, and average carbonation. D: It would be extremely easy to put back several of these babies. This is a lager with a lot of flavor, and a lot of character. Easily one of the better lagers I’ve had.

Pours brown. Thin head, Sweet grassy aroma. Flavour is quite malty with a grassy finish. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. Pretty dull.

Not that different from Sam’s Boston lager, but fresher with a nice bite to it. For a 5% lager outstanding.

Pours a clear pale orange with a half inch white head. The aroma is hoppy and malty... This is a pleasant surprise from a Molson offering. Honeycomb and apples on the nose with noble hops along for the ride. The taste is quite pleasant. Sweet and bitter in a light balance with a nice dry finish. Actually quite nice.

On tap. Pours a clear amber. Pretty fucking bland to be honest. I was pretty disappointed with this beer. Considering the overall rating it had on this site. Definately overrated for a 75. Aftertaste was annoying, and after two pints I actually quit drinking that night. Pretty disappointing.

Bottle. Poured a pale amber, with a thin white head, spotty lacing, and a bit of very persistent and swirling skim on top. Nose is nice and bitter, plenty of malt, no corn presence, hops are extremely nondescript, but present. Palate is very full and round, this reminds me of what Coors original tasted like, back when I was stealing sips of my Dad’s. Surprisingly nice.
