Almost a pilsner styled lager. Well balanced pale malting, combined with a crisp pilsner styled hopping. A good flavour in general. A nice medium duration in the aftertaste. A good lager.

Rich golden in colour, which dictates the taste. The hoppy, freshness of the beer makes it one of the best lagers produced in Canada. Nice finish with some light malts. How many can I drink, ask the question!

Love this beer and am very pleased nothing has changed since they were taken over by molson. Probably my first choice at your average restaurant were good beer is hard to come by. Superb clean malt flavour, goes down easy with a nice mouthfeel and a slight malty aftertate.

Rerate. Still a good beer, but not as malty or hoppy as it was in the past. Just seems to be a little more watery than it used to be. Not as good as it was a year or two ago, unfortunately.

Light golden colour with a thin white head and some lacing. Crisp aroma of hops and light malt. Flavour is sharp with faint fruitiness, some hay/grass and a faint yet crisp citrus hop finish. Reasonably well balanced.

Good quality lager. My only problem with it was that carbonation was too strong for my liking. It didn’t make it much less enjoyable seeing as the beer is above average otherwise, but yeah... I’ll try it again come summer; when maybe that extra fizz will be welcomed.

500ml bottle. Nice hop aroma. Amber colour with average size white head and good lacing. Flavour is very well balanced - sweet, bitter, and some dryness. Medium body palate with low carbonation. The best lager I’ve tasted to date.
