Rcr84 (29), Canada Jul 4, 2007 Don’t know what all the buzz about this beer is all about. Poured from a bottle purchased at the lcbo. Very little head, off golden colour. Flavour was sub par. Molson destroys another good brew. Definately better lagers on the market.
everettvh (24), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Aug 30, 2008 473 ml can from LCBO. A great looking dark amber lager, with a short white head. Good lacing. Slightly flowered aroma. Very creamy mouthfeel. Balanced flavor. My new favourite Canadian lager. jmikolich (352), Athens, Ohio, USA Aug 21, 2008 on Tap @ Tortilla Flats Toronto, sold as a dark lager, taste is just like Sam Adams Boston Lager from the states, light hoppy balanced taste with a crisp clean finish what more can you hope for. jimmay (15), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Aug 10, 2008 Had on tap after a round of golf. Nice deep golden colour. Light taste and aroma of hops and a little grassy. Refreshing, a solid lager. fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 5, 2008 2008-07-28, draught at Hop In Brew Pub, Calgary, 4-3-5-2-8=22 Hazy golden color. The aroma is quite unmistakable: infection or keg problem, less evident in the flavor. Difficult to evaluate what it was before...
2008-07-27, draught at Ship and Anchor, Calgary, 6-3-5-3-11=28 Golden color. It has a light fudge aroma. The mouthfeel is quite dry, there is only a shade of fudge. Ordinary bitterness. Simple but not bad. hip_hop (84), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 18, 2008 Light golden colour with a thin white head and some lacing. Crisp aroma of hops and light malt. Flavour is sharp with faint fruitiness, some hay/grass and a faint yet crisp citrus hop finish. Reasonably well balanced.
