The finish has a little dryness but the hop disappears in a hurry. A bit of a travesty, really. bu11zeye (5731), Frisco, Texas, USA

Poured a medium golden-yellow color with a larger sized white head. Aromas of graininess, wet grass, and I was getting some spiciness. Tastes of the same graininess and had a lighter sweetish finish. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2007 A golden lager with a thick white head. A lightly sweet grainy malt aroma with light hopping. In mouth....yummy. A good malt base, with definite biscuiity sweetness, a pleasant hoppiness, very crisp. Not quite like the pils at l’Amere which I like so much, but getting there. Can LCBO. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 1, 2007 This is in no way a traditional pilsner, only in a very broad sense. Good malty aroma. It was so-so lagerish up front, and decent bitterness on back like a maibock hits me. Drinkable with some creamy mouthfeel, and overall, probably because so fresh and new, a decent refreshing and positive surprise beer. I would send it as a hitchhiker, but not worth especially trading for. Dry aftertaste. HogTownHarry (4037), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 12, 2007 Can (473ml). Looks a bit like apple juice - pale clear yellow, but has a decent shaving-creamy/rocky head. Very pleasing pils aroma - fresh-cut timothy and clover hops, very light sweet malt body. Ditto the taste - honey and clover for sure, and very fresh. Light, crisp body, only moderate carbonation, and just a hint of astringency through the quick, sweet, dry finish. I can’t find a fault with this - okay, maybe it’s a TAD sweet - but well done Creemore. This is easily better than the regular Creemore. Clear lager with good deep golden appearance. Nice decent sized white head on top, semi creamy in character. Good proper stylistically look.
Sweet solid malty base at aroma . Sweet and rich with light green herbal hoppy attachment. Aroma wise malt character more blunt than in most pilsners . Hops more bitter green than hay Saaz like .
Fairly soft body , with appropriate amount of malts . Juicy brew even bit oily . Hops are marked and noted yet they sit as shy background to malty front. Interesting set up , softer Bohemian palate blended with harsher drier bitterness of hops used more often in Central and North Germany. Solid pils of mixed heritage.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 14, 2007 Can courtesty of Tuqueboy from the LCBO. Golden yellow body with a small creamy white head. Floral hops and a light musty note to the aroma. Similar floral hops in the flavour, moderate bitterness throughout. This is an adequate, fairly mainstream pilsener, and I am not a particularly big fan of the style, but it does beg the question of why they bothered to make this when their regular lager is more interesting if it has been served fresh. <P>
This marks my 400th Ontario Rating!!! Counting the numbers is silly, but some of them are meaningful to me and this is one of them since I actively sought out the beers of my home province, and planning weekends around travel to the many breweries and brewpubs around Ontario. Anyways, it is a small thing that I will revel in nonetheless, and I look forward to many new local beers.
