Bottle. Amber. The head disappears about as fast as possible. There is spice in the aroma, some molasses, clove, cinnamon, a hint of pumpkin. I taste some caramel, grape, pumpernickel.

Bottle courtesy of matt7215. Pours brown with a thin white head. Smells of chocolate, earthy, some peppery splashes. Tastes chocolatey and lightly bitter with a spicy finish.

I tried this beer after purchasing a 6 pack from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent dark red, with brownish hints, and little or no head. The aroma was sweet malt, with a hint of hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is sweet dark malt, some chocolatey tones, and a little hoppish bitterness.

341 ml bottle from the LCBO. pours light brown with a small tan head. sweet aromas that take a long time to come out. decent malt undertones but fairly thin overall. easy to drink at 6% but in a watery way. no complexity. an average brew here.

Pours a deep burgundy colour with a thin off white head that disappears pretty quickly. Smell is fairly hoppy with some hints of raisin. Flavour is pretty sweet, and a little bit of dark fruits. It’s pretty bitter, but there’s not much hop flavour. It’s a bit watery, which I’d expect from a molson product. Carbonation is a bit low. Not awful, it would make an alright session beer, but it’s not fantastical, really.

Bottle. Dark, copper with a fair head that disappears. Very malty flavour, something caramelish in there too, though I couldn’t quite put my finger on what it tasted like to me. Kind of thin though. Pretty solid, not spectacular, though I’d like to give it another try.

Deep ruby brown with a fat tan head. Aroma of sweet malts and prunes. Solid malt body with caramel and toffee and a crisp sweetness. Dried prune aftertaste. Solid Bock.
