Light off white head. Reddy brown. Yeasty aroma with hints of maple syrup. Rounded mouth-feel. Immediate chocolate/toffee. Some caramel very light. A good rounded beer.

Tap - Copper brew with a small head. Malty aroma with a medium body. Taste is very creamy which I approved with small traced of burnt malt. Not the best of bock but still a great beer that should be made available all year long.

I am not a hugh fan of Creemore Springs beer but this one is pretty good. Dark and roasted, its taste compare to many german bocks I have had in the past month, and it should. The head was almost non existant but I figured I could have poured it more vigourously. The scents of coffee and burnt malt were very nice. Not smooth but not bitter was the end result on the palate. Great Bock all around!!

Sept 2007. Cest What Festival of Small Breweries. Dark amber body with a small off white head. Muted aroma, lightly toasty malt and burnt caramel. Similar flavour is malty with just enough balancing bitterness to keep the malt from becoming overly sweet. Average palate. Just ok. 6/3/6/3/13 - 3.1
Re-Rate Aug 2005. Hazy brown body with a small creamy beige head. Muted caramel malt and muted toasty/roasty character in the aroma. Similar flavour with sweet caramel maltiness and a bit of a tang that hints at the fact that this bottle may have lingered just a bit past its prime in my cellar. Average palate. Decent but I have had better samples of this, sadly I failed to take better notes on those. I wonder if we will see this again next year. 5/3/5/3/10
Original Malty aroma, dark colour with a medium size off white head. Seems much more mellow in flavour than past versions. I remember it having a bit of a bite to it before. The malt dominates the flavour. A good but not great brew. 6/3/6/3/13

Very nice strong flavoured sweet dark brew. Very smooth. Nutty, coffee flavour with fruity notes. I only wish it was available all year long.

Tasted in Toronto from 'TheBeerStore'. Deep dark appearance, little or no head. Litely sweet and malty aroma with hint of citrus. Smooth and balanced malty taste with slightly hopped background. Hints of toffee or caramel.

Ok, the Coca-Cola-style twist off, light aluminum cap is just plain tacky. Now on to what really matters... Crystal clear, deep, copper-colored brew. Small, creamy, khaki head with minimal lacework. Yeast, malt (dark roasted), alcohol and citrusy hops in the nose. Different! But a nice combination of aromas! The flavor is filled with caramel, coffee, cocoa and dark bread up front. Nicely balanced. Lightly bitter and acidic with a touch of mildew on the backside. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and playful carbonation. Lengthy, astringent, lighty bitter finish. Pulls up just short of being a world class beer in my book. Mega-thanks to radiomgb for contributing this very fine bock!

I can't wait until the Christmas season again in 2003. Sweet enough, dry enough, heavy enough... near perfect.
