Bobsy (194), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 29, 2007 Sampled at The C’est What? Fall Festival of Beers. Nice dark brown colour. Caramel malt in the nose and the flavour. Thick consistency, with a creamy aftertaste. Quite pleasant. Ported (67), Ontario, Canada Apr 23, 2007 Everything about this beer screams Caramel. The colour, the smell, and the taste all have distinct caramel tones. As one would imagine it is quite sweet, with a very mild bitter hoppy aftertaste. Non-existant head, except for a slight ring around the glass. Slightly syrupy and lightly carbonated.
A pleasent easy drinking bock, though sadly nothing stands out. ChrisThomson (378), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 11, 2007 Has a bit more happening than the Creemore Lager. Pours a nice dark brown colour with a minimal head. Has some decent sweet malt taste with spicey notes. sinkhole (176), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jan 29, 2007 My first Bock. Poured a clear deep brown, with a minimal head. Sweet aromas carry through to a malty/caramel flavour with a hint of a hop finish. Little to no bitter aftertaste. A very nice, clean selection and slighty better than Creemore’s premium lager. crushinat0r (227), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 27, 2007 Sweet malty smell. Deep golden in colour, but the head is a little on the pathetic side. Inofensive taste, nice and malty. You get exactly what you expect. A solid bock. I’ve been told that these could use a little aging so I’m going to seller a few and let you know in a few years how they do with age. robinvboyer (1419), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Jan 24, 2007 nice stuff.
lots of sweet malt. aroma is kinda bready though, a little too much. nice thick mouthfeel, nice malty finish, overall a nice bock. tomthompson89 (1459), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 4, 2007 decent brew, pours nice and dark with minimal head, sweet malt taste, some almost cinimin notes. gets bitter when it gets a little warmer kipdynamite (11), Canada Nov 14, 2006 Dark brown in colour with a quickly dissipating brown head. Quite sweet. Nice smooth, malty flavour. Decent.
