I enjoy this beer each year it is released. Snap it up early to ensure freshness. Nice and dark, with earth notes and caramel sweetness. A perfect cold weather brew.

Pours dark with distinct malt aroma and definite hop bitterness. Not as good as their Lager in terms of balance but a decent beer none-the-less.

Thanks to tiggmtl for this one. Pours ruby with minimal white head. Aroma of malt, dark fruit, some spices. Tastes malty, with some corn flakes, sour hops, almonds, and cinnamon at the finish.

Dark, reddish-amber with a fizzy, white head that recedes quickly. Nice malty aroma with melanoidins and subtle American hops. Smooth malty flavour with just a bit of malt spiciness. Nice trinity of residual sweetness, piney hop flavour, and bittering. Watermelon and honeydew notes, some raisin, and just a hint of roasted malt. Medium body, medium carbonation with a pleasant lingering dark malt bitterness.

No. 99 A real spring treat. Dark copper from a bottle, roasted nuts, hints of fruit. Not too heavy, very good drink all around. Excellant.

Dark copper, but a bit more on the grainy brown side. The head is patchy and mocha. I’m pretty sure I detected some Saaz in there, or a piney, spicy equivalent. Some caramel as well. Relatively light carbonation and taste, roasty caramel and maybe a bit buttery, mouthfeel is superior to most lagers at first, but dies off quickly.

Bottle pours a reddish caramel, medium off-white fizzly head, spotty lacing, with lively carbonation.   Light alcohol aroma, along with apple skin and caramel malts on the nose.   Smooth malty flavor, subtle sweetness, little bit of oat/grain on the back end.   Medium body and mouthfeel.   Sweetness pretty much dead by the finish, with lingering malts.   A bit on the light side, but nto bad.   Thanks goes out to radiomgb for the trade!
