Gooner (136), Chatham, Ontario, Canada Jan 23, 2002 This beer is heaven! Slighty burnt / roasted chestnuts and medium dry prunes. Dark orange in colour. Perfect malts, hints of citrus, some late hops(like Oakes said). Too bad this is seasonal. :( Ranks very high with Wellington Iron Duke Strong Ale and McAuslan Oatmeal Stout. Creemore Springs urBock is another Canadian classic. iambeer (255), Ontario, Canada Mar 17, 2005 Updated: Mar 25, 2005No. 99 A real spring treat. Dark copper from a bottle, roasted nuts, hints of fruit. Not too heavy, very good drink all around. Excellant. Loic99 (23), Luxembourg Jul 25, 2001 wow & bravo! a very euro tasting treat! seasonal you say? 8( dhurtubise (568), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada Aug 20, 2002 cyrenaica (435), Milton, Ontario, Canada Dec 25, 2008 341ml bottle

I tried this beer after purchasing a 6 pack from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent dark red, with brownish hints, and little or no head. The aroma was sweet malt, with a hint of hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is sweet dark malt, some chocolatey tones, and a little hoppish bitterness. Sanchex (223), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 5, 2003 Updated: May 20, 2007Very nice strong flavoured sweet dark brew. Very smooth. Nutty, coffee flavour with fruity notes. I only wish it was available all year long. SleazyE (3), Windsor, Ontario, Canada does not count Jun 9, 2003 I can't wait until the Christmas season again in 2003. Sweet enough, dry enough, heavy enough... near perfect. iam (369), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Jan 11, 2003 Good dark colour and malt flavour but a little too carbonated.
