2012-03-17. Crisp very pale yellow straw colored body with a small white head. 2+ Crisp hoppy bitterness, floral and straw grassy notes. Average to light bodied palate. Bit light overall but pleasantly hoppy. On tap at the brewpub

3fourths (6403) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 26, 2012
draft at the brewery. clear gold with a white head, average retention. starchy, pungent dried grass hop character, certainly comes close to saaz in nature, and while the pilsner malt is biscuity and cracker-like, it’s also excessively husky and rough, growing more brutish in it’s coarseness the more it’s consumed. so, while it seems to be lagered long enough to clean it up and provide adequate crispness, and the hops are snappy and appropriately musty / pungent, the coarseness wears and i’m left not enjoying the last few sips as much as the first.

On tap at Brewhouse. Pours a clear yellow gold with a small off white head leaving spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is a faint corn malt. Thin mouthfeel with a honey and wheat flavor. A decent pils from Crescent City.

Clear blonde. No head. The aroma is bland. The flavour is dry and hoppy and minimal pale malt notes. Clean and refreshing.

Beershine (4725) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - JAN 12, 2012
Draft @ brewpub. Clear gold. Glassy. Old world hops in the aroma signal a genuine attempt at making a real pils! Grassy hops. Very dry and clean and Germanic. Thin but crisp and clean. Not bad.

BückDich (5468) - McCall, Idaho, USA - APR 26, 2011
Tap @ Brewery: Pours a thin pale gold, very light and thin with a subtle husk aroma and almost no hop bitterness in the finish. Great on a hot day, but that’s why we have macro breweries.

BillKismet (2760) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 20, 2011
Exuberantly carbonated golden-honey brew with crisp hopped head. Clean hoppyiness throughout the bouquet, in fact, soapy notes are detectable. Light cereal mash and feint hops intermingle. Again, clean flavor. The finish is slightly tannic and lit with fresh grain. Not bad at all for a generally lackluster style.

rudolf (2245) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JAN 26, 2011
Nose is lightly toasted malt, a little lemon & some grass. Flavor is light toasted malt with a lot of residual sweetness that covers up the nice hop character. Maybe a little fruitiness in the finish.

Braudog (4607) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - DEC 22, 2010
Draft at the brewery. A bright golden beer with a mellow character. Brewed true to style, and well made, if unexceptional. (#4025, 12/11/2010)
