a must have every time i go to NOLA. this beer is great, tastes and smells like bananas but its not overwhelmingly flavorful. yellowish and foggy with average foam and carbonation. this is one of the first beers i ever had so i might be partial to it. i remember the head being very fluffy w/ small bubbles

This is a very well made hefeweizen and is a perfect example of the style, The bananna and clove smell, spot on...the pineapple juice cloudy look, there...this is a wheat lovers dream, a goood wheat in da heat!

On tap at the Crescent City Brewhouse. Foggy yellow color (typical Hefeweizen) with a fizzy white quick-dissipating head. Nose of citrus, banana, orange and clove. Taste was just like the nose: fruits and clove, with an obvious and punchy emphasis on the clove. Spicy/sweet finish. A nice Hefeweizen.

Cloudy amber orange sunset hue with a flat layer of head. Fresh wheat aromas pour from the glass. The wheatyness is accompanied by zesty banana notes and perhaps a soupcon of clove. This beer follows through with a fresh wheaty flavor. Vital and tasty with touches of banana and the slightest perception of clove--as if it is an element whose influence can be felt if only vaguely remembered. Top-notch hefeweizen worthy of another round.

Cloudy yellow with a strong, spicey nose. Tons of banana flavor with lots of spice to back it up. Spicey clove, corriander and almost ginger. Very traditional German Wheat flavors.

A pretty good beer....very typical of the style....clove, banana, citrus, etc....spicy bubblegum edges that became more prominent as it warmed.

Draught: This was perhaps the better of the beers that I had here. It is a cloudy, light golden-yellow color. Big head, with decent lacing. Bready, yeasty nose, with a slight hint of lemon (no slices were evident). Good wheat body and taste. There was a slight hint of banana to the taste. Slightly spicy finish. Very good!
