COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A classic Scottish Heavy ale “the Hammer” combines six different malts providing a complex malt flavor. The reserved hopping results in a slight sweet finish and notable alcohol presence. Pairs well with roast dishes and soups.

On Tap at Brewforia Beer Market in Meridian, ID. Hazy deep copper color witha small but lastiung sandy colored head that leaves nice lacing all the way down. Malty and rich, with a nice smokey peat flavor. Quite strong at 8% and softly carbonated. Very nice offering from new upstart Crescent Brewery in Nampa, ID

Tap @ Bittercreek: dark mahogany with light head, nose of fruit, caramel and smoked malt. The flavor has a dominant smoke flavor with a nice toasted malt and noble hop note in the tail. Well balanced for so much smoke. The finish is a touch metallic but the alcohol transitions well. Nice.
