can. Poured clear amber with an initially large white head. Sweet light malt aroma with some alcohol. Medium body, a bit oily with a bite, dry finish. Grainy/vegetal flavour, sweet alcohol notes with a warming sensation.

Canned: this is ghetto shit 10% hardcore :A nice aroma considering : deep maltiness. Golden stuff: on the palate it’s dry, honey maybe hay. tangy booze accents but it’s surprisingly smooth

Can. A drink slowly lager given its strength, it’s more than noticeable and makes any tastes redundant. The aroma is not bad, slightly sweet. Golden with a thick head.

Deep gold with a frothy, medium, lasting, lacy, white head. Smells of sugar, corn, vegetables, and of course, alcohol. Medium oily body with medium carbonation. Tastes of alcohol with a burn that you will remember with pale malt and some sweetness like sugar or honey. I’ve had whose but this is truly terrible.

500ml Can. Pours a rich gold with a medium just off white head. Aroma of alcohol and a little malt. Flavour is hot with alcohol but quite rich and malty. The special German hops have a hard time breaking through. The finish is surprisingly not overly sweet for such a big beer. But it does still tend towards sweet with an alcohol bitterness in the very late finish.

Can from brother in law. I have to say, I rather enjoyed this. Boozy, pretty smooth. Lots of golden tobacco malt, with breakfast cereal honey. Drinkable certainly.

Can [500ml] shared with HogTownHarry, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o j&m. Pours a clear deep gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is sugary sweet and corny along with vegetal notes. Flavour is boozy and has a harsh finish -- it gets worse and worse the more you drink it. Light to average bodied. Not the worse beer I’ve ever tried but it’s still awful garbage.

2013-05-24. Crisp orange body small frothy off white head. Aroma of grainy industrial malt, fair bit of alcohol. Flavour is similar grainy malt profile bodied palate, carbonation, modest bitterness. Average to light bodied palate. Pretty rough around the edges but less awful than I expected while chilled. Gets progressively worse as it warms though. Can from LCBO, Toronto

500ml can shared by the evil twins jercraigs and mabel, with blankboy. Clear dead-looking gold, not much white head. Slightly nasty and vegetal corn aroma - nastier taste. Slick, sharply carbonated, even nastier boozy aftertaste. Ick.

Can from a Turkish off license in south Sheffield. This was my ’game over’ beer for the evening. The pour’s deep gold with hardly any head whatsoever. The nose is very sweet indeed. Loads of honey and white bread. Eau de Cardboard. General artificial sweet nastiness. The taste is as mean-spirited as you’d expect. Strongly sweet concentrated apple juice. Harsh finish. Notes of vomit. The carbonation’s so aggressive on this that it adds a mineral-like quality to the beer. Quite sticky. Overall, a pretty bad beer. I had dreams of uncovering a gem. Alas, I struck out.
