Can from Super Lincs, Lincoln. Deep golden colour with a foamy white head. Corn syrup aroma and taste really sweet and not that nice.

One of those beers I have been on the look out for the past three years, found in a random off licence in Great Barr. Golden Amber beer with medium head. Aroma of liquid bread and malts. Taste is malts, bread, some alcohol and some sweetness. Not as bad as I thought it would be and not as harsh as I expected at 10%.

500ml can. Pale pour. Smells like rubbing alcohol. flavor is sweet and malty. Good bit of ethanol/menthol/mint cooling booze finish. Might be a tooth paste collab, not sure.

It has rapidly dwindling foam and smells a bit of hops and little alcohol. I senses already in the flavor that this is a strong beer. The flavor is sweet, but not of malt. It is almost saccharine characterizes the first sweet impression before a violent alcoholic overtone dominate the rest of the taste experience. It’s really not pleasant to drink, the taste is too dominated by the high alcohol.

This is some crazy alcoholic tasting stuff, like they poured ethanol into it. It’s golden w/ a foamy head. Other than alcohol, it’s really bland w/ carbonation coming as close as this has to having flavor. The harsh burn makes it kind of touch to drink. I will say this though: it is better than most authentic real ale.

A lightly hazed golden lager with a thick white head. In aroma, soapy, grassy, mineral, so-so. In mouth, a sweetish corn malt with loads of alcohol, light fruity esters, not as bad as I expected. Can from LCBO, 1 year old.

500ml can from an off licence. A 10% beast of an alcoholic’s drink. Golden orange, clear, lightly sparkling, big foamy white head, light lacing. Aroma is very light, surprisingly fruity - melon. Body is medium, a little spritzy, quite foamy. Taste is minty booziness, light bread, a little bubblegum, no real bitterness. Let down by the sickly sweet booziness.

Poured bright gold with heavy carbonation, but minimal head. Thin bubbly film. Sweet caramel aroma. Strong, a bit heavy on the alcohol. Medium bitter finish. Medium length. Thin texture. Slight off flavour that I can’t place. So so. Not a bad beer, but a bit too strong for my liking.
