BeerandBlues2 (6096) - Lone Tree, Colorado, USA - NOV 6, 2007
Bottle. Pours dirty yellow with a small, frothy and rocky white head, mostly diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (moldy grain, cereal), average hops (citrus, grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of green apple and vegetables. Light bodied, watery texture, average carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness. This is definitely not one of their better offerings. Of the four beers I have had from them, I suspect they are all a bit tarnished by something not meant to be in the beer. I look forward to them fixing their problems.

Really it’s a golden lager...but whatever. Clear golden color with the thinnist of heads. Lager nose. Very refreshing crispness that works well with the good bitterness. Nice biscuit finish that leaves you wanting more.

Pour is golden yellow with a thin white head...smell is lightly graqpefruity...taste was sweet with faint hints of citric bitterness building into a moderate bitter finish...

Draft: Clear and light golden. Light with a light carbonation. Light malts. A little earthy. Flowery and only slightly fruity (pear). Yearned for sharper nips of fruit and esters ... and a little more personality. Drinkable, but too light in more ways than one.

Draught. Body is light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly hoppy (flowers, grapefruit). Flavor is moderately sweet. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Seems kinda confused about what style its trying to be...in fact I just assumed a mild APA at first. Then I saw the info sheet and did a double take.
