Slightly hazy golden coloured beer with a small, medium lasting, ivory head. Aroma of orange juice, mango, maracuja, lemonade, resin hops, yeast, a bit of unpleasant toilet rim block, peppery spices. First resin/ spruce hops in taste with a round and sweet caramel flavor and some vegetables, then black pepper, sweet hoppy finish with not unpleasant alcohol, light floral, rose like touch. Sticky texture, soft carbonation, medium to full body.

Keg at Jopen Proeflokaal Amsterdam, Netherlands, Tuesday 6th October 2015. Warm gold in colour, a little light oily looking texture, white sticky head atop. This is a thick beer in the mouth with a bug sweetness (think American IPA) malty, slightly boozy, thick in mouth. Good stuff. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7

Many thanks for this beer to Krzysiek. Piwo swietne, imperialne dobrze wywarzone. Piana spora, pachnie pomarancza sycylijska i swiezymi morelami. Smak cytrusowo zbozowy, morele suszone i jagody goji. Tresciwe, smaczne i bardzo metne. Polecam

33cl bottle. @home 28-09-2015.
In short: hoppy robust ale.
Pours hazy light amber-copper with ivory head, short retention, poor lacing. Fruity, pine, citrusy nose. Medium body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is fruity, deeply balanced towards hops, los of tropical fruits, pine, earthy flavors, subtle caramel malt profile, alcohol noticed, little warm mouthfeel. Ends some dry and bitter. Enjoyable.

Big sweet tangerine aroma. Nice malty sweetness complements the hoppiness. All around good DIPA. One of the better German craft brews

Bottle. Dark yellow golden colored and hazy with medium white frothy head. Strong fruity aroma with a lot of citrus and grapefruit. Notes of passion fruit and apricot get accompanied by a slight sweet caramel note. Good bitter taste with a nice hoppy finish however the bitterness is balanced by a malty foundation that adds some sweetness especially in the beginning. It does a good job hiding the IBU. The flavor is somewhat overwhelmed by the hops and not as distinctive as the smell promised. Malty notes however appear somewhat stronger in mouth and make the flavor quite complex. The caramel notes are stronger while the fruity citrus notes are still present but not as dominating as in the nose. There is also an alcoholic note which adds some warmth till the end. This complex profile is embodied in a medium to thick body with medium carbonation. After the nice bitter finish there is a fruity light sweet aftertaste with a still bitter foundation.
