33cl bottle, Bierzwerg. Bbe 04/13. Dark amber, thick frothy white head. Caramelly aroma with pine needles and woody notes. Flavor has bitter hops, fruits, pine and caramel malt. Smooth, easy to drink. Maybe slightly old bottle.

In short: malty fruity ale.
Pours hazy to cloudy amber with frothy creamy off white head. Moderate head retention, good lacing. Malty, bready, yeasty, caramel, fruity aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. Taste is quite malty, sweet, smooth, fruity, little bitterness. Seems like a malty keller with some more body and hop charge. Enjoyable.

Poured from 330mL bottle [bb 29.04.15]. Cloudy light amber brown with off-white head. Aroma is quite malty, very subtle caramel, tropical citrusy hops. Taste is quite malty as well with some noticeable hints of pineapple and other citrus hops. Both the sweetness and the bitterness are there quite noticeably, but they are quite subdued interestingly. A little floral and resin on the finish. Medium body, slightly oily texture.

A dark reddish brown with a normal amount of white head. The aroma was full of citrus, tropical fruit, and orange as well as lighter sweet smells of caramel. I was surprised to detect some alcohol considering the beer is only 6.4% ABV. When I drank this beer I was met with bold bitterness, very fine small carbonation, and a slight sweet finish. There was plenty of citrus and tropical fruit hop flavors. There were also slighter hints of sweet bread and caramel from the malt. I was surprised again that I could taste the alcohol in this beer, which made an otherwise great IPA slightly less enjoyable.

Kita (1192) - Koper, SLOVENIA - NOV 22, 2014
Bottle, 0.33l. Clear deep amber color with thin creamy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, toffee, dried fruits and pine hops. Taste starts with sweet, rich and smooth biscuit malt, follows by herbal and fruity acidity with heavy bitter finish. Medium to full body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Incredibly malty IPA, however still not so unbelievable for Germany...

Aroma is of barley. Even when searching hard to find hops. Taste is a bit like metal, missing crisp hop flavor. Maybe a bad bottle but this was extremely disappointing.

330ml bottle from Gourmondo.de, hazy darkish amber colour, medium mostly lasting frothy off-white head, good lacing. Moderately malty aroma of caramel, hay and bisquit, moderate to heavy hops with notes of peach, lemon and resin. Taste is initally moderately sweet and slightly bitter and acidic, turning into a moderately bitter longish finish with an astrigent feel. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. A fairly balanced and not overly hoppy IPA, nothing overly spectacular but way above the bulk lagers and such.
