Hazy gold beer, little white head. Palate is light and crispy. Light malt base. Light tangy lemon with touches of floralness and herbs. Carbonated sting. Little ripe orange underneath . Crisp finish. Very saison like. Refreshing,

bartlebier (1195) - Belchum im Breisgau, GERMANY - MAR 20, 2014
33cl bottles, bier-deluxe. Relabeled, remarketed again. Pours a very thin orange-pink-yellow, UK-style undercarbonated mild ale. Mild perfume of peach, faint grapefruit, thin fruity yeastiness. Drinks like a very watery cream ale, quickly washing away most of the APA-inspired hop profile. Thin-bodied for heightened sessionability, priced up-market for heightened profitability: only I could imagine a few other more traditional, characteristic and flavourful Munich thirst quenchers that you are not through with after 1-2 bottles.

Hugi (322) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - DEC 28, 2013
Dark orange with a creamy Head. Intensive smell of tropical fruits, grapefruit, extremely fruity (maybe also pears and apple) and a bit resiny - nice! Strong bitterness and full body.

330 ml bottle. BB 24/07/14. From my Wuppertaler Secret Santa! Vielen Dank Gabriel!
Cloudy yellow orange colour with a small white head. Sweet toffee, sweet biscuity malt, mild hops and some mild fruity sweetness in the aroma. The flavour is mild bitterness, some sweetish hops, biscuit, sweet malt and caramel. Watery. I guess it’s right time to drink this Summer Ale as it’s Christmas Eve tomorrow.

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 14/20
Creedence (282) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 22, 2013
Keg, served in a grey clay mug in the Haus Der Kunst bar in Munich. Can’t see it, but the head retention is great! Some hay, citrus, strawberries, light vanilla and caramel on the nose. Taste is medium fruity sweetness, light malt with a touch of citrussy bitterness. Smooth, light, super refreshing. A great session beer and a nice change from the usual classic Munich beers.

33cl bottle, bb 24-07-14. Hazy orange/golden with a thick white head. Floral, malty, fruity aroma, orange comes to mind. Flavor has wheat, mild spicy notes, oranges and floral notes. Mild bitter finish. Very refreshing, tasty beer.
