3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33 cl bottle. BBE 12.11.2012.
Pours hazy golden color with a medium-sized frothy head. Aroma is quite fruity, has fresh hops and is quite nice altogether Some mild nutty notes and nettle can be found also. Flavor of apricot, lemon, goose berries, mild yeast and hops. Bitter palate. Some weird vegetable side-note on the aftertaste ruins the show a bit. Still surprisingly good.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 12.11.2012
Quite fruity aroma with peaches, citrus and biscuits. Flavour is somewhat hoppy with gooseberry bush, some nettles, grapefruit, apricot and soapy lemon. Somewhat disturbing and odd, vegetable‐like savor in the finish. Quite American for a German beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottle from Sand Passage in Lüneburg. Poured a cloudy brown-gold, more like a weiss, aromas of citrus plus a little pineapple and touches of pineapple and musty yeast. Dry and fruity body, peachy malt and peppery hops coming through in the finish.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice amber colour, cloudy. Great tropical aroma, lots of pineapple and mango. Well carbonated. The hops have a lot of punch, maybe a bit too much, compared to the other tastes in it. Not as well rounded as other Pale Ales, but still a very good beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Hazy dark orange body, big creamy white head. Nose is honey, grapefruit, grainy malt tones and hints of grass. Taste is mild floral grassy notes, grainy malts and a bitter, herbal finish. Slightly fizzy carbonation, medium body, OK, but no more.

3.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Light brown semi-hazy on the glass, not much of a foma.
Aroma gives off all kinds of malty, sweet stuff.
Piney hops and lots of sweetnes on tase. Not much bitterness, nicely balanced though.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Tom. Slightly hazy golden-orange. Aroma of stale hops, slightly floral and buttery popcorn notes. Flavor has a bit of sweetish malt, a bit grainy. Decent bitter hoppy finish. Light to medium-bodied.

Bottled 330ml (BZ, BB 01/2013)
Hazy orange color, steady white head, lots of yeast in the bottom of the glass. Grapefruit-citrus and peach in the nose, resiny notes. Medium-bodied. Very fruity flavor, nice American style hoppyness. Sweetish notes, peach, some citrus. My second APA from Germany and nice one.
