Cervesa molt aromŕtica, en gust potser no es nota tant perň dóna molts records afruitats.
Cerveza muy aromática, en sabor quizás no se nota tanto pero da muchos recuerdos frutados.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle bought in Berlin in September 2014.
Copper with a small head. Sweetish with toffee, malt, fruit and some very light notes of hops. I wonder how tired this was? Drinkable but nothing to write home about.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle, pours a murky dark orangey brown with a small white head. Nose brings out English style hops, with some bready notes and dry caramel. Flavour is well-balanced between caramel bready malt and English-y resinous hops. Drinking this as fresh as possible once arriving in North America, but this still seems rather faded in the hop department. Quite decent, but lacks depth.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Elegant copper body. Rich caramel malt, dry fruits, biscuit, bittersweet finish. Quite creamy, maybe a tad too heavy but decent dark IPA.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330ml bottle served in an English pint glass.
A: Pours a slightly hazy dark orange color forming a big fluffy beige head. Great retention and tons of lingering lacings formed and left in the glass
S: Great grassy and flowery hops in the nose. Quite citric too. Strong notes of caramel and crystal malts. Notes of oranges and grapefruit. American profile yeasts
T: Slightly sweet upfront. Strong notes of toffee and caramel malts. Hops are quite herby and grassy. Great and persistent hops bitterness in the mouth. Great bittersweet balance as well. Notes of tropical fruits, mainly grapefruits and oranges
M: Medium bodied. Molasses. Good carbonation. Caramel bittersweet aftertaste
O: Great drinkability. Germans daring to produce American style IPAs means, great beer! Of course!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amber body and small head. Darker malts, fermentation aromas, cheesy, dark hops like resin and pine. Oats even. Drinkable body, more than I was afraid of. Not quite as bitter as should be, perhaps, but well balanced you could argue otherwise. Light touch of alcohol in the end. Nice brew, rich and perhaps on the brink of being overdone.
