Commercial Description:
Cricket Hill American Ale is an easy drinking “amber” ale with a wonderful balance of caramel sweetness and hop flavor. The aroma has a slight note of citrus and rock candy. There is not an imported ale on the market that tastes this fresh.

Bottle from Steveo. Pours out a light brown color, not much of a head on it. Smell has some hops, grass, little bit of citrus, and sweet malts. Taste is lighly carbonated, smooth, a nice little bit of bitterness and spice. Interesting beer, would be a good session beer.

Oxidationfest Tasting at illinsmitty’s. Pours a burnt orange with some light tan head. Aroma is somewhat grassy. Medium body. Suprising amount of hops. Malty backbone, reminds me of an esb.

Bottle from Decaturstevo. Pours amber with an off white head. Aroma of wet crystal malt grains. Light to medium bodied with a British esque texture, mouthfeel, and carbonation. Flavor of wet grains and toffee, countered by a moderate spicy bitterness that carries through to the finish.
