Not much in the way of aroma apart from some faint malty aromas. Lightly roasted in the flavor, not as sweet as most amber ales. Drinkable but far too faint in flavor.

Roasty balanced ale. Medium bodied and done well but nothing stands out to me... a bit flat and safe.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 502F (1000) - ARLINGTON, Virginia, USA - FEB 1, 2011
Bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy copper color with a nice off-white head that leaves enticing lace. The aroma is of amber malt and citric and resinous hops. Delicious and balanced, and the flavor follows suit. Not too physically "out-standing", but definitely very balanced--an ideal session brew. Medium body and carbonation. Overall: a great session beer.

Bottle from Half Time. It’s a wild foamer. Clear copper with an off-white head. Roast caramel aroma with a citrus hint. Fullish body with a very foamy carb. Amber/caramel malt with moderate citrus hop. Wild thing! S’ok, but don’t make my heart sing.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 SamP01 (357) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 16, 2010
Pours a dark cloudy amber with a small off white head, Aroma of caramel malt some floral hops. Taste is caramel malt, barley and light hops. Palate is light to med body, light carbonation. Finish is sweet caramel malts with some light hoppiness to add some balance, Overall seems to be light for the style of amber ale, could be more flavorful. An ok and easy drinking brew.

Draft: Tinny malt nose. Clear copper, medium yellow head, nice lacing. Tinny barley malt flavor, with toasted chestnut accents. Metallic dried leaf finish. Pretty good if not for the persistent metallic qualities.
