Cricket Hill American Ale is an easy drinking “amber” ale with a wonderful balance of caramel sweetness and hop flavor. The aroma has a slight note of citrus and rock candy. There is not an imported ale on the market that tastes this fresh.

Hazy amber pour. Aroma of berries and light hops. Has an off metallic taste throughout. Unappealing finish. Tastes like a poorly done home brew. Nasty.

Bottle during RBWG. Pours a cloudy orange with large frothy white head. The aroma is strong citrus and spruce. Medium mouth, citrus and pine, good.

Aroma: Citrus (burnt orange), molasses, pine, flat Appearance: Deep, golden orange. Gorgeous, thick, creamy, coffee colored, three finger head that disappeared slowly. Taste: Citrus front-end, raisins. Palate: Flat front-end that doesn’t liven up. Overall: I poured this 12 oz. bottle into a glass in which I like to drink beer. It drank as I thought this American Ale would. RateBeer member nittanytide summed it best, "Pretty one-dimensional, but a decent hoppy pale ale." #respectbeerbrethren

Not a great beer for me. Very short experience. Almost no floral components. More flavors of cardboard than enjoyable flavors.

Poured from 12oz bottle. Hazy pumpkin coloration. Smell is caramel and faint fruit juice. Taste is dry, somewhat metallic, with pineapple at the end. Healthy carbonation, but minimal head. This beer is missing any notified hops and as a result is two dimensional. Decent.

Bottled. Pours a clouded brown. A bit overly malted and mild hops. Not too great really.

Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of hops and slightly toasted grain. Taste is smooth with a bit of pineapple up front that quickly dissipates as the bitterness takes over yielding a bit of coconut and tart in the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured with a very lively head, in fact I first thought the bottle I opened had been shaken prior. The head did settle but left behind a thick foam of ’Brussels Lace’ all the way down to the end of the pint glass. A pleasant enough beer, but needed a little more hop character.

August 2010 from bottle. Amber color with a white head. Medium carbonation. Caramel, malt, spice, bread and hoppy flavors. Not bad, not good.
