Pours to a cola colored body with a coating tan head. The aroma is coffee and nougat. The flavor was also pretty much the same, with nougat and coffee. Sweet palate.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle @ Brass City Brew Fest. Pours dark brown with a medium brown colored head. Smells sweet and strongly alcoholic. Tastes thick and muddy and the flavor is strong of bourbon, but too sugary. Good sampler, but wouldnít enjoy a full pint of this.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thanks to Blake for sharing! Poured cola brown with a well-retained, creamy dark beige head. The aroma was sweet, with toasty black malts topped by a lot of sweet bourbon and vanilla.. I didnít get much else out of there. The flavor found sweet black malts, chocolate, and vanilla at the core, with slightly metallic bourbon and barrel around.. finished with more bourbon and roasty black malts. Medium-bodied at most on the palate.. the barrel just dominated the base beer.. dry and a touch sour at times. This didnít do it for me.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brown pour w/ a small off white nearly light tan head that quickly dissipates. Roasty aroma with a good amount of bourbon (butter) and a fair amount of coffee. Avg pal. Tons of barrel in the taste bourbon first butter sweetness a bit of dry wood over some roasted black malt, not a whole lot else in their. Decent, but not great.

I was Supposed to give this to someone as a kind of secret Santa gift, but its way passses that so Iím drinking it. Very dark brown body and bubbly Suds. Unique aroma with the roasty oaky flavor very noticeable. Light and smooth on the palate. Taste almost like a chocolate drink, but not in that negative overpowering kind of way. Delicious.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pour out of 22 oz bottle, thanks Aaron for the pour! Gusher out of bottle, uh oh. Dark brownish black pour with fluffy and fizzy tan head, aroma brought notes of sour candies, some vinegar, hints of cardboard, oak, slight bourbon and caramel, some chocolate and coffee with vanilla but restrained. Taste is more of the same dark sour cherry and vinegar, hints of oak, bourbon and slight vanilla with a touch of chocolate, finishing fairly sour. Infected, hope to one day have a good version!

T - similar to the smell but much weaker and got little of the vanilla. A bit bland for what I expected and hoped for.
M - B.S. !! Thin watery and light in body
O - DId not even reach moderate expectations of being a porter and tasting Barrel aged, Just not very good in my opinion.

Bottle @ Mattís house, courtesy of jtclockwork. Deep brown/black appearance with a brown head. Tangy, dark chocolate, dark fruity, infected Snookie-stylie aroma. Tangy, dark berry, chocolate malty, sour, tart blackberry flavor. Fuck it all.
