Bottle courtesy of decaturstevo. Poured amber with an off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma with a touch of a hop background. The flavor finds some sweet honey and caramel with some grainy undertones. Light body, hint of bitter in the ending.

Bottle from Steveo, thanks. Label says cask ale. Orange colored pour with a white head on it. Sweet caramel smell, not much else. Light body, thin mouthfeel, a little bit of hops exist - light carbonation. Not alot to say about this one. Kind of bland.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 maeib (7542) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 14, 2008
Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - GBBF 2008. A copper coloured beer with some whitish bubbles for a head. This is a nicely hoppy beer with citrus and pine notes. Just a touch of woodiness sets it apart from being an APA. I liked this a lot.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Immy (1955) - Virginia Beach, USA - AUG 12, 2008
12 oz bottle jcwattsrugger was kind enough to let me steal at the Richmond Summer Gathering. Labeled as "Colonel Blides Cask Ale". Hazy amber with a beige head. Sweet caramel and citrus (tangerine?) nose. Nice earthy flavors, floral bite, caramel and citrus. Fairly clean, lightly bitter finish. Nice.
