The East Coast Lager is an easy drinking “golden” lager with a wonderful balance of crisp malt flavors and flowery hop finish. Built specifically with very low bitter aftertaste, the aroma is as clean as the taste. A difficult beer to brew because of the gentleness… this beer is magnificent!

An average score is 2.75, and this is an above average lager. Pours canary, with a good head. Aroma of malt and slight hops. Tastes malty, with some slight honey and citrus at the finish.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2004 Clear yellow color. Aroma smells like the Passaic River. Flavor is a bit of mellow burnt firewood. Total swill.

This beer isn't worth the 75 character minimum rating. Thin and watery with foul smells and tastes.

Nooooooo / this was the beast of the beasts this evening. "What happened in my glass?" was pivos first reaction and yes, you get this wired feeling that unvisible elves just farted in your glass, this smell makes you cry. At least it looks like...no leave it like that. This is undrinkable!

After touring the brewery, I had to try this beer. Real nice. Easy to drink lager. Was a big hit at my Superbowl party. I got a 1/6 keg of it and enjoying every glass.

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2009 I am really enjoying this simple but well made lager. Sometimes the best things are simple. Nice grainy aroma with a noble hop twang, this brew is an easy drinker with a small whack of bittering hops in the finish. Nice round mouthfeel with some pillowy softness in the middle. Very clean, yet flavorful as well.

Not a bad light beer. The best thing is its made in Jersey.
