The East Coast Lager is an easy drinking “golden” lager with a wonderful balance of crisp malt flavors and flowery hop finish. Built specifically with very low bitter aftertaste, the aroma is as clean as the taste. A difficult beer to brew because of the gentleness… this beer is magnificent!

Clear gold pour. At first i thought this kinda smelled like shit, then I realized with some help from Walter that it actually smelled like STALE shit. Tasted not much different. Why bother lager should be the name. I just dont get it.

Bottle received as a gift at RBWG -- thanks! Pours a filtered golden color with a fleeting white head. Smells of potassium and mint leaves -- odd. Nice malt backbone in the flavor with notes of salt and waxy grapefruit rind from the hops. Not bad at all.

12 ounce bottle - $5.75 at Taco Mac in Canton, Georgia. Appearance: Pours a clear, golden body, a bit stingy on the head size, with only a slim, white head that fades quickly. Smell: Cereal-scented malts, grains soaking in tepid water, and the meagerest hints of florals and citrus. Taste: A sweet cereal maltiness greets the tongue, followed by a small hint of crackling graininess. Lightly floral, lightly spicy with a minor touch of bitterness. Smallest trace of citrus lurking in there as well. Sweetish, ever so slightly crisp finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: It’s drinkable, it’s decent, easy on the flavor, but goes down easy, too.

12oz bottle. Pours straw yellow, decent white head. As expected. Welcoming aroma of bread and grassy hops. Amazing flavor! Malt body puts me back in my seat. Full of bread and malts. Perfect malt character, perfectly lagered. Three sips and the pint was gone! Amazing. I loved this Lager tremendously.

What an incredibly Lager. I wasn’t expecting this at all. It has an out-of-this-world hop aroma almost akin to a Pale Ale. I love it. It is creamy and has a wonderful body, not too light or crisp as some Lagers get. It’s pale in color, like a bright straw yellow with white head. Super easy drinking but very flavorful at the same time. Might be my new favorite.

Pale golden colour. The nose is lightly grassy with a touch of pale malt character. Very fresh-smelling with a little bit of wheaty spice as well. Clean yeast. No sulphur but a nice fresh character. Solid lawnmower beer.

Draft at Southwind Cafe Mathews VA: Weak corn aroma. Clear amber, medium light yellow, some glass adherence. Grainy with lemon zest at midpalate. Better than the macros, but still rather weak.

Pours a light gold with virtually no head. Aroma is light but has hints of bready malt and citrus hops. The taste is grassy hops with a balanced bitterness and a touch of biscuit. Very light bodied but doesn’t taste watered down and is easy to drink. The carbonation brings out the hops nicely. At only 4% you could drink this all day...literally.

Clear-amber with large gatherings. Very odd old lime lemon smell. Slides down the throat without indifference. Grassweed medicine? With as pure and fresh as it is our family loves this beer for what it is worth...a lot!

Bottle 355ml
Aroma straight pale malt , toasted feel , malty base with light hop notes. Old traditional continental lager like.
Appearance amber gold with white top. Some lace is shown.
Flavor and Palate : Medium bodied, toasted malts behind. Generic malt feel with almost no hop presence in profile. That would be fine if malt was better (wet cloth issue). Average. Note – reminded me of many old school Russian pale lagers.
