3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jcos (1175) - Maryland, USA - OCT 28, 2012Location/Date:Bottle on October 28th, 2012.
Appearance: Pours a cloudy orange yellow, darker than the standard "pale lager".
Aroma: Aroma of faint floral hop, some cereal malt but not bad like other pale lagers.
Taste:Some floral notes, citrus, light bitterness, light malt
Palate:Light body, quick aftertaste.
Summary: First off, thanks Ben! I figured it was appropriate to drink this "East Coast Lager" while the East Coast is about to get drenched by Hurricane/Whatever Sandy. To be fair, I see pale lager don’t think very much of the beer. However, I’m impressed with this one. Nice lighter beer, nothing outstanding but it might be the best of it’s category I’ve had. Oh, and Ben, if you are still reading, whatever bad finish you tasted on your sample of this beer is not on this one.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 5000 (4973) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Bottle:   Golden straw, slight haze, moderate sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Soft hops on the nose, a bit of barnish wheaty malts as well.   Soft citrusy notes, pale hops, with a musty wheat background.   Seems
more of an Ale than a lager.   Has a faint soapy dishwater or floral soap like backside.   Again, this feels a lot more Ale like than Lager like.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   As it warms the nose becomes a bit
more floral.   Smells like an Ale, feels like an Ale, finishes a bit like a lager, fairly smooth.   Still kinda up in the air on this one.   Its decent, even if a little bit of both worlds.

Not as bad as some of the reviews would show. It is a basic american lager with a little bit of hops. Nothing great but not bad.

Piss colored with fluffy yellow head. Belgianesque aroma. Taste is fruity hoppy and metallic. Kinda gross.

Bottle to pint (thanks John). Looks good for a lager; gold with fluffy white head and lively carbonation. Smells doughy and a little skunky, but in a good way. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. A good example of the style.
