HoppityHop (74), USA Aug 31, 2007 Unfiltered version on draft at the brewery, that they saved for quite some time. Cloudy yellow coloring with a touch of a tan hue to it all. Decent, yet small head. Aroma was mildly sweet, as was the basic flavor. Maybe a tad too sweet for my tastes, but that goes along with the style. Rather crisp, with lively (haven’t used that term yet) carbonation. Pretty decent bock, for sure. thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Nov 18, 2006 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of frothy medium sized tan colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent typically carbonated yellow colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malty smoky and sweet. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and mildly vinous. Somewhat unidimensional bu t OK none-the-less. hophead75 (1620), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Aug 8, 2006 on tap at the brewery. This beer has mellowed out alot since the last time I sampled it, back in May. At that time, it was way too sweet and estery. Aroma is slightly grainy, malty, with a small amount of hops in the background. Taste is fruity, malty, with a clean finish. a decent first attempt. jcwattsrugger (3757), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jul 12, 2006 22 oz bottle-pours a foamy offwhite head with gold color. Aroma is sweet, medium malt, mild hop. Taste follows. Medium body. OK carbonation. Nice beer.
