TomDecapolis (2420), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 31, 2008 On tap at Capones. Pours a hazy orange/copper with a medium creamy off white head that laced. Flavor a match of aroma. willblake (1932), Long Branch, New Jersey, USA Jul 30, 2007 20070730 Growler thanks to hophead75. Well, I wasn’t going to take notes on this stuff but since I just drank a half gallon of it, it seems only right to log my thoughts. Still happily carbonated after a few weeks in the fridge, this stuff is golden amber with a fine beige head. Aroma is mildly fruity with obvious Belgian yeast esters and some graininess. Body is thin but pillowy, still nicely carbonated, lingers with some sweet fruits and coating vegetal hint. Flavors overall are simple and sessionable and really hit the spot tonight. Generally mild and probably a notch better fresh off tap at the brewery.
Thanks, Andrew, for sharing this Cricket Hill brew that was definitely worth trying. stegosaurus (1883), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 28, 2007 Draft from brewery. Pours copper with a small white head. Aroma of fruit, spices, sugar. The flavor is banana-like, sweet, spices, yeast. Good brew.
