Draft at Blackstone, while watching the amazing World Cup action! There is nothing special here, but its an all right lager - it didnít seem too Belgian to me. Light malty sweetness & mild hopping. A slice of lemon improves it a bit.

12 oz bottle. Pours amber with small, short-lasting, fluffy white head and good carbonation. Aroma is of grassy hops, caramel malt and some apples. Body is medium and smooth. Grassy hops, caramel malt and ripe fruit fill the mouth. Finish is long and semi-dry. Good session brew.

Bottle.
Appearance: Slightly hazy body but a nice amber to brown hue. The head is short and quickly settles into a thin light tan coating with a uniform creamy ring with some big bubbles through it.
Aroma: The aroma is mildly sweet from the malts with hints of licorice and clove and a subtle dried fig aroma. The aroma is mild and somewhat pleasant.
Taste: Very bland flavor, hints of malt sweetness and a bit of flavors of spice and fruit from the yeast, but not much. The back-end picks up hints of licorice, dried fig and clove, but itís very mild. Hints of brown sugar are noted.
Palate: Full-bodied with moderate to high carbonation.
Overall: The spices they coaxed out of the yeast Iím not very fond of, licorice notably. This is rather bland as well. I guess they were going for a session dubbel but this came out lacking too much.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4918) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 3, 2014
Sampled on draft this beer poured a yellow-gold color with a a large foamy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was perfumey and citric. The flavor was lemon, wheat, cracker and perfume. Medium length finish. Light body. Meh.

EithCubes (4908) - New Jersey, USA - APR 17, 2014
Bottle. Nose is golden and citric with light yeast and a note of dankness. Pours brilliant clear golden with fiery orange accents and strong carbonation, a rocky-soapy white head. Medium body is relatively dry, lightly bitter, firmly malty with pleasant but minimal bread, touches of mineral and metal, crisp Champagne-style yeast. A little oily, no real booze showing through. Itís a bit curt and robotic, but thereís enough here to warm up to.

Rating this one a little higher than the average. Well not very exciting, it is tasty and grat session beer. Really a beer i think a lot of people would like including miller/coors drinkers.

Cybercat (3333) - Georgia, USA - OCT 3, 2013
Pours a pretty clear amber with a fairly thick and fluffy eggshell head. Weak aroma has malty and barely noticeable fruity and hoppy notes. Flavor, though, is better - if not spectacular, still enjoyable. Malty, a little hoppy, rather fruity (apple and pear, maybe a snip of cherry). Texture is smooth, fairly fizzy. Brewed for summer, but fine any time of year.

On tap. Poured a hazy orange/yellow color with a thick foamy white head. Aroma of bread, citrus, yeast, with a bit of funk. Taste of toasted bread, clove, black pepper, yeast, and some citrus.

Bottle shared by John at the Racetrack Gathering. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Soft sweet wheat, gentle musk on the nose, lightly herbal. Sweet musk. A bit empty. Little wheat, faint bitterness. A little lacking in flavor but quite drinkable.
