22 oz. bomber. A great Spring beer. Very refreshing lager like 7 percent beer! So smooth for the alcohol content. Highly recommended.

(22 oz bottle) Purchased directly from the brewery. Pours a pale golden color with nice head and good lacing. Mellow malted flavor with a great palate. Hints of pine & hops. Nice character. Alcohol very well hidden. Craft brew quality and a good representation for the style.

Pouring a pure golden color, I thought it was a little light in color to be a Maibock. Aroma is floral meets bready and the taste is very dry. Very clean and easy to drink. Not as sweet as a true Maibock but I still really like this beer. Maybe because it’s more crisp than the usual German-style beer? Honestly though, I think it falls more into(the newer category of) Imperial or Double Pils, as it’s much hoppier and drier than any Maibock I’ve ever tried...........reminded me of Ramstein’s Pale Ale, actually. Forget about labels, and just call it a good beer, okay?

One up the upside down label bottles as yobdoog describes. If I recall correctly a small bit of this was bottled but since they don’t have labels they give it away. Courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Pours a hazy lemon-orange color with a thin head. Poor head retention and a few spots of lacing. Aroma is caramel, bread and light stone fruit notes. Taste is bitter leafy hops that fades into caramel, bread, plum and other fruits. Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Tasty. Good beer.

Gold pour with a creamy white head and lace. Rich sweet malt aroma, earthy hops, and a hint of pepper. Pepper, light sweet malt, with a slight finishing bitter. Nice medium bodied, medium carbonated beer. Very nice offering.

Bottle from hbmason and jtwattsrugger...thanks Tim and John! - Pours hazy amber with a real thin white head. Light nuttiness, toasted malt, hay, honey, herbal hops. Just a hint of heat. Light toasty malt, pretty dry and clean. Herbal hop finish with a dry, bready light toasted finish. Crisp mouthfeel, though the carbonation is dialed up a bit much. Pretty enjoyable but not my favorite style.

Light gold, slight head. Very faint bready aroma. Flavor is sweet bready and an earthy hop finish. Enjoyable for a style I don’t typically care for, light and refreshing for a sweet beer.

(22 oz. bottle from Lou’s Beverage Barn - label also says "Reserve Ale" but I don’t know if this is a different version) Pours clear light golden amber with a few fingers of whitish head. Aroma of caramel, honey, bread, pine, sweat and some metallic. Mouthfeel fairly smooth and thick but a little prickly. Flavor of light caramel, honey, some bread, licorice, light pine and a bit of a bitter hit in the finish. Thankfully none of the sweat or metallic in the flavor. Low ABV apparency. Decent bock.

Bottle upside down label with some making tape written Maibock. Courtesy of jcwats... Aroma is light and sweet with a mellow bitterness. Crisp and bubbly for a bock but not bad for a lager. Alcohol well hidden too 7%, wow.

on tap at the brewery. Golden in color with a medium off white head. Aroma is floral hops, dry malts, lightly grainy. Taste is dry, with floral hops, light bready notes, light to moderate notes of grain, with a lightly bitter finish. A decent drinking lager- but really does not remind me much of a maibock. The color could be darker, and it could have been a bit maltier and fruitier. But, it is a clean, crisp, well crafted lager. Maybe they will nail this one on the third try next spring. But, I would definitely not mind drinking this beer for the next couple of months.
