12 oz. bottle. Pours black and opaque. Some roasted malts in the nose. Lots of dark chocolate. Nice aroma lends way to mediocre flavor. Though good and roasty upfront, it finishes with unpleasant hints of soy sauce.

Chocolate malts with molasses and caramelized sugars on the nose. Pours dark brown with a no head. Caramelly malts, sweet, milk chocolate, smooth taste, a little thin with just a slight hint of soy sauce flavors.

Very dark brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of dark chocolate, licorice and a hint of fruit. Sweet and fruity flavour with chocolate. No burnt note - nice and friendly

Bottle courtesy of jcwattsrugger, thank you! Deep brown going toward black, decent head. Flavor is straightforward balance of chocolate and coffee accented malts. Aroma matches. Simple, but nice.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a fluffy tan head and some nice lace. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, coconut, molasses, roasted malts, and toast. Flavor is Cocoa beans, vanilla, roasted coffee and cream. This is great. Tons of flavor for how low the abv is. A phenomenal session beer.
