330ml bottle. Clear amber with a crisp snow white head. Looks thin bodied in the glass and puts out a mildy fruity araoma but mainly grain comes through. When it is tasted it is not as thin in the body as it looks with a dry finish and malty flavour. Would be a good session beer while watching the cricket.

In my research i have discovered that this easy drinking lager is brewed by an ex fosters master brewer up in Northern Victoria (Mildura). Amarillo hops give off a great fruity aroma and well balanced with the saarz. There is a slight "Corney cheap" - Stew41, there but nowhere near overpowering as some, nice dry, crisp finish, clean easy drinking for summer, i would drink this over pure blonde any day. Great six pack purchase.

Can’t understand this beer to be brutally honest, packaged like VB but then has pretensions of micro glory. The Amarillo hops make themselves known with that lemon floral aroma.
Appearence is OK, but nothing spectacular, flavour is a kind of thin with some citrus, slight powdery texture very short finish.

For a pale lager this is not bad at all. Have to admit the current ratings appear to be from people who don’t like this kind of beer in the first place. Difficult to come out top trumps for a summer pale lager if your a critic’s a stout drinker. That said however, have to agree with them in regards to the first few batches of this Micro Brewery beer, as it was a little weak with not much flavour. Am assuming its taken them a few attempts to get this right, which is understandable not being a major manufacturer.
Tried this beer a recently during a Bushfire Appeal Event which these guys donated the beer for. Have to say, it went down very well and the tastes certainly has more of the flavours they speak off, not to mention didn’t feel bloated after having a few.... well, maybe more than a few.

Pours pale lemon/gold with an inch of white head that dissapears in the blink of an eye. Nose is pretty muted, sweet (and cheap) malts, to say it has a bit of honey would probably be a stretch! Palate is mundane. More cheap/sweet malts early with a whack of grainy cardboard. Finishes with not much of anything. Honestly...whats the point? Why waste your time?

Out and out contract job me thinks. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, although on these shores it often conjures up pretty blend pale lagers. And guess what......that might well describe this beer. Looks, smells and tastes like most macro jobs; the corney cheap malts are a dead give away. Lots of fizz dries the flavours out and leaves it tasting a little sticky (ie kinda like Asahi). I don’t mean to be too hard on new players but frankly the small guys have got to try harder!
