3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
There are a number of Crispin versions around, the better ones are bottle conditioned bombers like this one. Nice flavor, apple, doughy yeast, good balance. To the kid that thinks Honey crisp apples are from genetic engineering and MIT .. no, how about Minnesota in 1960, before genetic engineering.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22 oz bottled shared. Pours pale, golden and cloudy. Fizzy white head diminishes almost instantly and leaves no lacing. Smells like apple juice, fruit, cider, honey, pretty sweet. Similar flavor, pretty damn tasty for a cider, not too sweet. Crisp and smooth.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dryer than I thought it would be. Pours yellow and cloudy. Could carbonation. This could be a dry champagne of I didn't know better.

Cloudy unfiltered hard cider. Tried in bottle. This was a little sweeter than I was expecting but i enjoyed the champange-like carbonation.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Despite my disappointment that Crispin is owned by MillerCoors, its still a decent enough cider. Slightly on the saccharine side.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
651mL. Pours full haze pineapple juice color with minimal white foam. Pretty. Nose is intense apple sauce and mild phenols, sugar cube. Taste is straightforward, mildly lactic, no sugar, big vitamin C. Palate is super quick. Dry and clean. Refreshing. Feels a bit watery. My rating : 3.3 Fiancé rating : 3.5

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy yellow color. Also like a hefe but with no head. This is a beet website afterall. The aroma is a bit like artificial apple. The body is a bit shallow. Its just bland and sweet and not reminiscent of the genetically engineered honey crisp apples from MIT and corporate America. The finish is tart and dry. If you like honeycrisp apples, eat honey crisp apples.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
You can tell that a lot of attention has been given to quality with this cider. The flavor is the perfect balance of sweet and tart, with a rich aroma and mellow finish. The addition of organic honey really accentuates the flavor, giving it more complex notes and a satisfying, clean flavor. This is truly an artisanal product, and motivates me to try the other Crispin varieties of hard cider.
