COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A lightly sparkling, crisply effervescent cider made with traditional English bittersweet cider apples sourced in the Malvern Hills of Worcestershire. Dark straw in appearance with a semi-brililant richness. The slight brettanomyces arome lends to an almost traditional farmhouse cider bouquet. Soft, subtle natural apple sweetness up front, brett and tannins mid palate move in to a slightly woody dry lingering finish.

A surprisingly good cider that kicks Strongbow in the pants - flavors are definitely more complex and developed than that of some its competitors. This doesn’t just taste like fermented apple juice. It is slightly sweet but not overpowering and actually has a savory component. It’s not quite like eating an alcoholic apple but it shows some wisdom compared to Woodchuck, Angry Orchard, Strongbow, and the like. Have bought plenty of times and will be buying again.

Golden pour, no head. Smell is apple juice, wood, and a touch of band aid funk. Perhaps an old can? Taste is slightly funky, with some malty grainy flavor in addition to the obvious apple flavor along with a touch of oak flavor. Kind of dry as well with a tannin like quality. Thinnish body and light carbonation.

Nice clear golden appearance. Aroma is light and mild, with some earthy, yeasty apple. Taste is a good mix of sweet and tart. Decent, but not my favorite.

500mL can thanks to Randy. Appearance: great sparkling golden yellow clear. Aroma: apple, light yeasty earthy. Palate: light body, dry finish, crisp tastes, average carbonation. Taste: light alcohol, great sweet start with a sweet molassesy finish that lingers a bit. Overall, very refreshing, good tastes.

500ml can. Pours a nice gold with a one inch white head that fades. Taste is of apples and wood. Similar aroma. Has a decent body with a dry finish. Nice, but a little one noted.

Large can into lager glass, light ambery-golden color with minimal white head. Aroma of apple sweetness. Taste is not as sweet as expecting which is nice, tart, somewhat tannic, maybe the slightest hint of spice. Light body, moderate carbonation, dry, astringent with slight almost woody finish. Not really a cider drinker so I haven’t had many but this is quite tasty, more tart and less sweet then the usual mass ciders I’ve had.

500 mL can from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Golden orange pour with a few bubbles but virtually no head. Aroma of ripe red apple. Flavor is in perfect balance, not too tart and not too sweet, but unmistakably apples are the featured component. A very good example of a well done cider.

Bought from bevmo, not a great aroma, golden yellow color pored into a pint glass from can, taste kind of ruined by the aluminum, dry, not to sweet. Overall a decent cider,my least favorite from the Crispin brand.

Pours a lovely golden brown with a lovely apple smell. The taste reminds me of strong bow but leaves a clean finish.

Canned from BevMo. Mildly tart with a bit of sweetness. Fairly balanced flavor wise. Some good apple characteristics, but a touch of an off flavor as well.

16oz can poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark orange with almost no head. Aroma of green and red apples with a little jolly rancher sweetness. Taste is light sweet. Apples with a hint of baking spices. Crisp and slightly funky. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a suprisingly long finish. Overall, not bad. Pretty darn good actually. EDIT: There is a definite brett funk in the aftertaste. Pretty cool.
