3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear golden yellow color with a ring of white foam around the glass. A light tartness and Brett funk to the aroma, quite nice actually. Some sweet apple notes and a touch of earthiness. The flavor has a hint of rubber, but otherwise is good. Pronounced Brett flavor and an interesting flavor of apple skins.

(16.9oz can, courtesy of Swalden28) Pours a clear yellow body with a spare white head that quickly diminishes. Aroma of apple, florals, and earth. Flavor of apple, subtle butter, and wood with a somewhat dry finish.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from the Davis Co-Op. Pours orange tinged gold with a few bubbles. Aroma is much more like fresh apples than most ciders. It’s a little earthy - maybe that’s the brett. Near med body. Flavor is a little earthy, very apple skin astringent. Quite dry. Overall a pretty tasty cider for pasteurized.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Kinda surprised I’m the first rater here. Cool. Clear very pale yellow pour. Medium fizzy white head fades instantly. Aroma of nice, tart dry apples with a faint bit of brett. The taste is similar. Apples, dry and tart, faintly sweet in the finish and with just a touch of brett lending an almost olive-like note. Medium bodied. Dry and champagne-like. Nice cider.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml can. Pours a nice amber color, fizzy head htat quickly dissipates. The smell is sweet apple, cidre vinegar, apple skin, some vanilla. Flavor is is sweet and like unfermented cidre upfront but the finish is crisp and dry. Nice fizzy carbonation, some vinous notes, not much yeast character. Decent cider.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can thanks to SS. Pours with a brilliant, filtered clear yellow body with a white head that lasts for quite a long time. Very effervescent looking. No lace. Earthy, dry, sulfury. Apples, light farmhouse hints, musty, decent acidity, earthy. Champagne, mustard seed. Perfumy, light fusel. Tannins, slightly tangy. Flavors are medium dry throughout although a touch to sweet in the finish for my taste. Medium sulfur, very light leather and farmhouse (less than the nose). Smooth but possibly a bit flabby. Minimal tannic components, earthy finish. Balance is a little sweet overall, not very sharp or defined. Medium to light bodied. Carbonation is medium (thankfully not as high as their other offerings). Minimal tannic balance. Medium to short duration.
All this said, easily Crispin’s best cider in my opinion. Decently to style.
