Bottle: Golden, small stable and lacy white foamy layer, perfumed sweetish-grainy nose with a delicate bitterness underneath; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, relatively soft; slightly drier bitter-sweet finish accompanied by a tinge of turpentine. Quite good....for a BELGIAN Pilsener.

Bottle @ home, 1500th rating. Completely standard pilsener. Nothing wrong, nothing exceptional. Golden / yellow color, thick white head. Smell and taste pilsener malts and grains. Low carbo and body. Decent pilsener.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 thewolf (8631) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 16, 2011
Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk.
Pale golden, fairly creamy, white, fairly large head on top. Aroma is mild citric, some maize-like maltiness, light hay and a bit of sugary sweetness. Low to medium carbonation, fairly oily palate. Flavour is okay for the style, some fair maltiness, perhaps with a bit of maize, citric notes and a fairly strong citric and light earthy bitterness to the end. A little bit of vegetable as well. Otherwise a fairly solid pilsner.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 txspartan (667) - Wilrijk, BELGIUM - MAR 10, 2011
Not too bad a pilsener. I wonder how much it really tastes like the pilsener Cristal brewed in 1928.

22nd May 2010. ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting! Clear pale gold beer. Light palate. Light creamy malt, turns a little dry in the mouth. Some hop grapefruit peeping through. Finishes light and soft. Okay.

Bottle at Chris O’s. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Pineapple, citrus aromas. Very dull nose. Some light hops, light herbs, lightweight. Even the dullest dishwater would find this stuff boring.

Bottle, 25 cl. Golden beer, nice white stable head. Grainy smell. The taste is nice grainy, hoppy and watery, but has an unnice grassy aftertaste. Decent, but there it stops.
