Pub (4102), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Oct 5, 2008 Bottled, pasteurised, 250ml from BEERmerchants, Kent. Pale gold with white head, carbonisation. Quite a sharp, tinny start to this, a breadcrust malt with a yeasty background. Cleans up after a while and sharp citric notes come through with a dry bitterness. Not disastrous unless you are stuck with the early flavour. ogivlado (2381), Zagreb, Croatia Sep 2, 2008 On tap at De Groote Witte Arend, Antwerpen.
Pale golden coloured, airy white head, dusty hoppy nose. Weak malty, and hoppy with salty and bready notes. Some grainy notes in the finish.Drinkable but in other hand typical industrial beer. Borresteijn (582), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 18, 2008 On tap in Bruges. A bit skunky smelling pilsener, grainy and sharp. Dry and drinkable. Mklein818 (160), Etterbeek, Virginia, Belgium Aug 17, 2008 Possibly the least tasty Belgian lager--a bit of grain in the taste, but little else of note. Lacking in any personality, soul or taste--was fortunate that it was served cold at the very least! oh6gdx (6331), Vaasa, Finland Aug 6, 2008 Draught. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Nice lace. Aroma is vegetables, some malts and hops. Flavour is malts, hops and yeast. HAs pretty much a pils should have and is wellbalanced. The carbonation bites bigtime though, being very crisp.
