True to its name, Cristal tastes at first almost like spring water; then comes a clean bit of hop bitterness; and a crisp, finish. It is a beautifully refreshing beer, lightly cleansing on the palate, with the appetising dryness that define the Pilsener style. Cristal pours with a very creamy head, leaving excellent lacing. Serve it lightly chilled as though it were a good Chardonnay.

Can. Golden, average and mostly diminishing head. Light to moderate malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, light notes of sharp metal.. Body is light, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, light sharp metal. Finish is short to average, malty - lightly grainy and dryish, some sharp metal and and light cardboard with faint hoppyness. Lager with notes of metal. "Cristal tastes at first almost like spring water". Yes, spring water with notes of sharp metal. Unfortunately true.

SImple Lager with no surprises. Bit sweety with malt in the aroma. Easy to go, great as a company to a meal and very non-spectacular. Classy classic

Can. Thanks Claus A. Pours clear yellow with a frothy head. Lots of corn and grain. Sweet with a sulphurish touch. Thin and bland.

Tap. Clear golden, fluffy white head with very good retention for a lager. Aroma starts malty, then hoppy but slightly musk. Taste start with some sweet-ish malt, then a very crisp bitterness emerges and takes you into a nice hoppy bitter finish. Somewhat watery, but what lager isn’t? Very very refreshing. Good lager!

One of the best beers ever! First of all, it has a nice appearance. For the rest, really tasty!

Bitter en flets smakend bier. Eén van de minste Belgian lagers die we hebben in ons land. Typisch festival bier.

Tap at several bars. For a pils, it's pretty hard to pour it perfect in a glass. Nice foam but doesn't stick around for more then 3 minutes or so. Still, a pils just for thrist. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

HOME 20130217 (25 cl bottle): A clear yellow beer with a nice white foam. Some aroma of malt (wheat-like) en some hops. The same in the taste with a slightly bitterness in the aftertaste. It is a standard pilsener. Good, but not extreem.
