Bottle from Palace Hotel, Poperinge, Belgium.
Pours a boring and flat yellow with an aroma of corn. Flavor is flat corn. Watery mouthfeel. No wonder everyone was drinking this at the bar. But hey, at least I beat a local at a chugging contest of this stuff. Yeeehaaaw! Donk!

Bottle. The aroma of grain, light sweet. The head is small, white and fizzy, fast disappearing, the body is pale yellow. The taste is light bitter and metallic. The body is light, watery and with a soft carbonation.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can @ pre-GBBF shindig, August 2009. Not sure who brought along this beauty. Pale gold. Quite corny aroma. Slight metallic tang in the flavour. Otherwise clean enough but pretty much devoid of interest.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tap, 25 cl. Golden beer with medium lacing white head, no bubbles. Grainy and sort of skunky malty, metallic smell. Grainy taste, a bit watery, sharp grassy taste in it. I didn’t really like the beer, although I wouldn’t say this is a bad one.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Stale and soapy to the nose. sweet and puffy in the mouth. The flavour has both salty and fruity notes and it comes across a well balanced. It is still quite stale and a little disinfectanty throughout.
