2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, bought @ Beermerchants.com.
Very pale golden with a fine, staying, creamy, white head. Good lacings. Aroma is sweet, light grassy, some maize, fairly mild. Small bubbles, prickly carbonation, light watery palate. Flavour starts heavily metallic, but settles with some sweetness and a fair grassy touch. Not the worst pale lager I’ve come across. Light citric in the far finish.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
6th March 2010. Pale gold beer that is very slightly hazy. A thin white head. Light carawayish malt. Crisp, fresh, light. A decent lager! Thanks to Harrisoni for introducing me to something that goes down easy at the end of along days drinking or tasting. Cheers Ian!

One of the "house" pils beers on tap they have in Belgium.
All quite similiar too; pale gold, soft malt flavour, dry bready finish with a bit of aromatic hop character.

Bottle from Palace Hotel, Poperinge, Belgium.
Pours a boring and flat yellow with an aroma of corn. Flavor is flat corn. Watery mouthfeel. No wonder everyone was drinking this at the bar. But hey, at least I beat a local at a chugging contest of this stuff. Yeeehaaaw! Donk!

Can @ pre-GBBF shindig, August 2009. Not sure who brought along this beauty. Pale gold. Quite corny aroma. Slight metallic tang in the flavour. Otherwise clean enough but pretty much devoid of interest.
