Very Belgian strong ale to my tastes but without the 9%+ abv. Very malty, somewhat sweet and heavy going but very attractive. Just enough fizz to hold it together. Dark fruits and aniseed to finish and some alcohol burn begins to creep in.

Nebuloso color dorato carico con soffice schiuma bianca. Profumata con sentori di agrumi canditi, miele, fiori e lievito; gusto dolciastro, note mielose, agrumate e caramellate. Corpo medio, effervescenza vivace, morbida al palato. Non male!

Pours hazy dark amber with a large, lasting head. Nose shows cinnamon, doughy notes, spices, light malt and banana. Pretty unorthodox. Similar flavours; more doughy notes, cinnamon, spices, banana and wheat. A bit off-putting. Carbonation needs to be higher, feels heavy at the moment.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2012 Beer Deluxe, 29-Jul-12, sweet light choc malt aroma, black colour, good light brown head and ringed sheet lacing. Sweet light roast choc flavour. Silky dissolving light choc finish with a touch of herb. Nice rounded crafted dark ale. Letting this warm gives me distinct sour sweet malt finishing touches. This beer keeps giving while you drink it.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a sweet fruity malt with apple pulp and sweet cinnamon. In mouth, a sweet cinnamon malt with loads of orange, Belgian hops, grassy notes, interesting. Bottle at Mondial 2012, June 9 2012.

mondial 2012, mtl - notes. pours hazy golden with a nice white head, some retention/lacing. light vanilla and bananas, spices, phenols, booze. some sweetness. lively to average carbonation, oily, decen grassy-citrusy finish.

Bottle. Cloudy orange amber with a white head that last OK. Aroma of oranges, vanilla, coriander, candi sugar, bubblegum, fake banana, dough. Taste is sweet and herbal with lots of orange and vanilla. A bit of perfumed hand soap. Discreet bitter finish. Wasn’t really a fan.

Appearance pours as hazed amber with medium white top.3+
Flavor and Palate : medium bodied. fruity with medium carbonation. Caramel, fruit , sugars. Some alcohol. Just OK.

330ml bottle (exp 2/13). Label states 7.8% ABV. A golden beer with a medium sized white head. Nice Belgian style aromas with citrus and spicy peppery notes. Malty bittersweet palate with a medium-full body. Like a Belgian style triple ale but somehow lighter in flavour.
