@Mondial de la Bière 2010, Strasbourg - hazy golden-blond colour, solid foamy white head; estery and spicy nose, fairly fruity; full-bodied and pretty tasty; a sweet malt backbone and a decent bitterness; residual sugars in a long fruity, estery and spicy finish - very nice

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a perfect bright orange with a small white head. Solid lacing. Nose is like raw sugar, barley, old coffee beans. Very pilsner-like. Quite sweet and herbally in the taste. Green herbs, leaf, sweet candy sugar. Solid but nothing wows me

All’Italian Beer Festival Roma 2012. Una bella tripel. Aroma fruttato dolce. Gusto all’attacco mieloso, maltato e fruttato (frutta gialla tipo percoca) per poi finire in un elegante agrumatura. Un ottima birra. Peccato sia stata servita un pò troppo fredda.

Classica doppio malto. all’apparenza mostra una schiuma di media persistenza e un bel colore ambrato. All’olfatto si riconoscono i malti e i tre differenti cereali. Retrogusto non troppo amaro, quasi agrumato.

Una bella tripel, solare e lineare, pulita e dolce. Non emerge più di tanto la speziatura.

Avrà anche vinto la medaglia di platino al mondiale della birra, ma io l’ho trovata debole e deludente. Ha un dolce eccessivo e le spezie non si sentono.

Spezie, frutta matura, miele.In bocca si sente l’alcol e finisce con un bel dolce.

16/07/2011 Open Baladin Roma (tap). Servita in teku. Dorata, viva, limpidissima, con buona schiuma bianca, morbida e poco persistente. Al naso floreale e speziata, con intensissime note di malto e frutta (banana, pesca), nel complesso molto interessante e gradevole. In bocca delude un po’ le attese, risultando dolciastra, con molto malte e frutta, ma priva della complessità che caratterizza molte belgian strong ale. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. E’ comunque una ottima bevuta.

Dal giallo oro,con sentori dolciastri che ricordano il miele,la banana.Schiuma moderatamente persistente,e dall’amaro poco accentuato.Di buon corpo.Una birra "di facili costumi",come piace definirla,è sempre un ottimo prodotto,sia d’estate che di inverno... Tasting at the 18th Mondial de la bière, June 10, 2011. Golden blonde a little hazy, small head. Slightly sweet aroma of barley, spicy malt. Taste of barley sugar, spicy pale malt, slightly dry, aftertaste of sweet caramel. Not bad as a triple, I think!
