UPDATED: AUG 21, 2003 Light golden color with a white but not very lasting head. A quite thin beer with not much taste or aroma. A little too watery...
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 RichardGretton (4016) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 26, 2003
Standard lager appearance with a lemony hopped aroma. The flavour is slighlty weak with again a lemony hopped feel. A good lager, the taste is slightly different, perhaps more refreshing than normal lagers.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 rauchbier (3394) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2003
Bottled. Gold, moderate head and good condition. Grain and grass in the nose, surprisingly soft and full bodied with a slight sour fruitiness in the mouth and a developing bitterness in the finish.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 leaparsons (7069) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 10, 2003
yeasty and fruity in aroma. Flavours are smooth with a hint of butter. I know the brewers advertise the low bitterness - why? I't nice for lager to have a finish.
3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 SilkTork (4898) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - APR 29, 2003
Fruit crush in a velvet glove. This is a firm fruity lager with a dreamy softness. The flat stewed hops finish lets down what is otherwise an exceptional beer. Kronleins was founded in 1836 and make a range of decent beers under the name Three Hearts. Crocodile is made with a small amount of corn to provide that softness, and Perle hops for the understated bitterness. The Perle is a cross between Hallertau and Northern Brewer. Surprisingly good for a global lager.

I actually quite liked this beer. Sweeter than many lagers and very mild. Won 1st prize in 1990 at Brewing Industry Awards (Sweden?).

A pale lager, pleasant, slightly fruity with no lasting aftertaste.Very little carbonisation and all round rather a nice drink. Does anyone
know what the connection between Crocodiles and Sweden is? Must be one of the more obscure beer titles but makes for an eye catching label.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Bov (8158) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 6, 2002
according to the label, this is the ’Worlds Best Lager’. Of course ... On the other side of the can, the french translation says: ’Worlds Best Beer’. Do the Swedes mean beer=lager ? - it has a pale golden colour, few head, medium hoppiness with herbal notes, full-bodied, sweet and slightly oily, the finish is quite brief

Fruity, somewhat nutty flavour. Not bad at all.
