I am no make believe IPA, I am big, resinous and stoked with American hops! I am also known as India Pale Ale.

Bottle from Hippo Beers in Glasgow. Pours hazy amber with a frothy cream head. Nice citrusy aroma. The taste is quite sweet initially. Notes of caramel, pine and light spice before a lingering dry bitter finish. Tasty stuff.

Keg at smallBAR, Bristol. A clear amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of pine, resin, caramel, some orange, grapefruit, wood, slight liquorice and subtle peppery hops. Taste of grapefruit, caramel, pine, lots of resin and a little wood. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A bittersweet, resinous hop finish. Quite sweet overall but packed full of US resinous hops, very drinkable and tasty. Like a stronger amber ale.

Rocky thin to medium dirty white head. Amber to ruby colour. Delightfully hoppy in the nose, with flower and apricot notes. Heavy bitter. Very good structure, a bit thick with spot on carbonation. A superb IPA.

Backlog rating. Cask at CBC Clapham, Craft 100, London. It pours a hazy light golden color with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and hoppy, with notes of citrus, pineapple and grass. Taste is lightly bitter and grassy, with notes of grass, grapefruit and ripe apricots. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, tasty IPA.

50cl bottle. BBe 12/07/2015 Pours beautifull full orange, with thick white head. Some lacing. Aroma of apples, beautiful bouquet of hops and a decent malt background. Lightly sweet first mouthful and then immediately heavy bitterness. Extremely complex, and saturated. Slightly less than full bodied beer. Stil extremely thick, with pleasant lively carbonation and a dry, rugged texture. After drinking this, I do not want any hoppy brews for a week.
