Keg at Brewdog Camden. It pours deep amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is pine, fresh citrus, green banana, earth and resin. The taste is pine, earth, leaf, sherbet, fresh citrus, tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit), resin and light alcohol, with a bitter finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel as it warms up a touch. Flavoursome, well balanced and smooth. Highly drinkable.

Pours a dark amber with a little white head that doesn’t last. Aroma of tropical fruit and some malt. Flavour is fruity hops with that malt coming through and a slight sweetness. Lively carbonation with this one too. Very enjoyable beer.

Pours copper with a thin white head. Aroma is a sweet, juicy, tropical smell. A malty initial with a stewed red berries middle and bitter kick at the end. Not what I was expecting from the aroma but lovely.

KeyKeg at the 2016 Cambridge Beer Festival. Golden brown with the hintiest hint of red. Proud off-white head. Pine resin, papaya and a note of PVC in the aroma. Bitter taste tempered at first by sweetness, but then left to its own devices. Full, long, satisfying resinous bitter finish. It’s a bit churlish to say ’I expect more from my IPAs’ while rating this a (well-deserved) 3.5... however it’s a bit too ’by-the-numbers’ for me.

Floral hops, citrus fruits, some grapefruit, light pine. Clear, dark gold, small, creamy, off-white head. Medium bitter. Citrus fruits again, grapefruit, light tropical fruits too, sweet mango and oranges, bitter finish. Very decent IPA, lovely fruity flavours in the aroma and palate. Bottle from Independent Spirit, Bath.

Keg @ Sparrow Bier Café, Bradford. Hazy dark amber with a thin head. Has good tropical fruit flavours that feel somewhat stewed through its strength, but tasty nevertheless.
