Keg. Hazy light amber. Fresh floral and grapefruity hops. Keg body is funny - a bit fizzy - but the hops are nice, with a mod bitterness and biscuity malts. Honestly, this needs to be cask.

tap@Pelt Trader, London - golden/amber pour with puffy persistent white head and lacing. Hoppy citrus aroma and taste, prominent orange on the palate, some grapefruit, good mouthfeel and decent punch bearing in mind the low abv. Good first impression from this brewery.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 5/8/2013. Golden with a slight white head. Big grapefruit notes, some pineapple and crisp malts, before a dryish finish. Very good.

Cask at York Tap. Golden amber colour, foam white head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of floral citrus hop. Taste is malt caramel with floral grapefruit citrus and hoppy bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

[cask, the Caley Sample Room, Edinburgh] Attractive clear golden pour with a thick white head. Aroma is a decent mix of orange and grapefruit citrus, and some earthy backbone. Impressive for 3.5%, Craig really gets the flavours into his beers. Finish is long, dry and pithy. Great stuff [10072013]

On cask at inn deep clear golden ale that is big on flavour despite low abv strong citrus and hop flavours really I gives ipa’s and rye beer with double strength a run For their money with flavour

Cask at Old Mill, Brodie [060713]
Amber, slight haze, dense white head, somee lacing
Aroma of soft tropical fruits, soft pale fruit malt
Taste of soft earthy hops, biter quite grassy hop, slight nuttiness(?), zesty on sides of tongue, not sure about the hop flavour in this, fairly sweet pale malt background
Palate - Light, thin body, but a little oiliness. Finish of biter grassy hop, quite dry finish, bitter linger
Overall - It was too warm from cask which didn’t help. I wasn’t over keen on the hop flavour, little rough and earthy. Would like to try on keg but it’s my least favourite of the Cromarty beers so far

Cask @ Blackfriars. Orange brown colour, reasonable head. Citrus hop aroma. Dry orange hop flavour, bitter aftertaste. Big tasting for 3.5 % but not outstanding.
