Cask at Old Mill, Brodie [060713]
Amber, slight haze, dense white head, somee lacing
Aroma of soft tropical fruits, soft pale fruit malt
Taste of soft earthy hops, biter quite grassy hop, slight nuttiness(?), zesty on sides of tongue, not sure about the hop flavour in this, fairly sweet pale malt background
Palate - Light, thin body, but a little oiliness. Finish of biter grassy hop, quite dry finish, bitter linger
Overall - It was too warm from cask which didnít help. I wasnít over keen on the hop flavour, little rough and earthy. Would like to try on keg but itís my least favourite of the Cromarty beers so far

Desverger (2095) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 8, 2013
tap@Pelt Trader, London - golden/amber pour with puffy persistent white head and lacing. Hoppy citrus aroma and taste, prominent orange on the palate, some grapefruit, good mouthfeel and decent punch bearing in mind the low abv. Good first impression from this brewery.

[cask, the Caley Sample Room, Edinburgh] Attractive clear golden pour with a thick white head. Aroma is a decent mix of orange and grapefruit citrus, and some earthy backbone. Impressive for 3.5%, Craig really gets the flavours into his beers. Finish is long, dry and pithy. Great stuff [10072013]

jamestulloch (1395) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 18, 2013
Aroma: Bright aroma of lemon and grapefruit. Fresh, green and hoppy with a hint of rhubarb.

Appearance: Murky golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing.

Taste: Sharp citrus burst of sherbet grapefruit. Slightly woody. This is really hoppy and flavoursome.

Palate: Thin to medium body with a watery mouthfeel. Nice carbonation fizz.

Overall: A delicious beer - and only 3.5% ABV. Well done, Cromarty.

danlo (1169) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2013
Cask at York Tap. Golden amber colour, foam white head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of floral citrus hop. Taste is malt caramel with floral grapefruit citrus and hoppy bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

MalcolmTucker (742) - SCOTLAND - MAY 12, 2014
Cask at Waiting Room. Pithy grapefruit aroma and flavour with a solid dry finish. I didnít know the ABV when I ordered and was surprised to see it at 3.5% considering the body and hop flavour.
