Cask @ Blackfriars. Orange brown colour, reasonable head. Citrus hop aroma. Dry orange hop flavour, bitter aftertaste. Big tasting for 3.5 % but not outstanding.

Cask at York Tap. Golden amber colour, foam white head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of floral citrus hop. Taste is malt caramel with floral grapefruit citrus and hoppy bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Keg. Hazy light amber. Fresh floral and grapefruity hops. Keg body is funny - a bit fizzy - but the hops are nice, with a mod bitterness and biscuity malts. Honestly, this needs to be cask.

cask at cloisters sometime in 2013 (finding a bunch of offline notes that never got added...) nice US IPA hop profile but not a lot of body, bitterness prevails. to be expected at this ABV I guess. still a hint of malt backbone. not bad but iíll take the Chappy over this pint any day.

Keg at Brewdog AGM. Didnít touch the sides! Easy drinking session beer, perhaps a little light-bodied and watery.

Cask at Old Mill, Brodie [060713]
Amber, slight haze, dense white head, somee lacing
Aroma of soft tropical fruits, soft pale fruit malt
Taste of soft earthy hops, biter quite grassy hop, slight nuttiness(?), zesty on sides of tongue, not sure about the hop flavour in this, fairly sweet pale malt background
Palate - Light, thin body, but a little oiliness. Finish of biter grassy hop, quite dry finish, bitter linger
Overall - It was too warm from cask which didnít help. I wasnít over keen on the hop flavour, little rough and earthy. Would like to try on keg but itís my least favourite of the Cromarty beers so far

(draught) pours a clear golden colour, with a frothy off-white head. aroma of tropical fruit and gooseberries, slightly resinous, with a hint of bread dough and straw. flavour is herbal hops, gently roasted malts and chicken curry, slightly sweet, with a hint of mango, black pepper and a light-bitter finish. light- to medium-bodied with soft carbonation.
