500ml bottle from BrewDog Glasgow. Almost black colour, not much head. Sweet milky coffee aroma. Dry roasted coffe flavour, Sweet aftertaste. A decent stout.

Impenetrable very dark brown. Medium brown head, low to medium retention. Aroma intensity 4/5. Coffee and olive oil predominate in the nose, plus discrete notes of toast and malt. Heavy bitter, smokey taste with a hoppy finish. Medium to full body. Average carbonation

On Keg at the Stockbridge Tap. Pours dark with a nice tan head. Huge very fresh coffee aroma. Lovely refreshing balanced dark malts and cold coffee. Lovely

Bottle from Hippo Beers Glasgow A dark brown beer with coffee aroma flavour is coffee charcoal quite bitter fairly basic one dimensional coffee stout ok but not great

Bottle from Oddbins Beer Shop, Blackheath. Black pour with a beige head. Aromas of chocolate, burnt toast, coffee and smoke. Flavours of coffee, black cherry and ash. Mellow throat burn. Quite pleasant.

From a bottle in Edinburgh. Dark brown, opaque body with a very good head. Rather strong coffee flavor and moderately strong coffee aroma. Medium body with good smoothness and carbonation.

20.1.2015. Looks like cola. Very strong coffee aroma, or coffee beans. Some malts try to get from behind but not much. Taste is also mostly coffee, dryish fresh coffee. Its good, stronger version could be awesome.

Many thanks to Sean for this bottle! Malzig-röstiger Antrunk. Süffig, etwas dünn, aber trotzdem vollmundig. Röstmalz-Kaffee, feinherb, nicht zu tief. Intensives Röstmalz mit Espresso, etwas dickflüssig, lecker.

Bottle at home split with Sarah. Picked up from Brewdog online. Opaque black coloured pour with a medium loose tan head. Aroma is spicy veg coffee bean and slightly ashy roast and nutty praline. Flavour is dry roasted barley with nice fresh raw coffee bean, little bit of spicy. Palate is medium light and chalky on the tongue. Bit of dark choc lingers with some. Well brewed with no noticeable flaws, could do with some more body perhaps.

On tap at Bon Accord, Glasgow and Port Street Brewing House, Manchester. Pours dark brown with creamy tan head. Malty, chocolate aroma. Roasted malts, coffee and chocolate flavor.
